Research Group “Politics and Political Thinking in Japan 1993-2006” – Group Leader: Prof. Michiko Tanaka, El Colegio de Mexico.

Concentration: Human rights in Japan, specially gender, racial discrimination and discrimination against persons with disabilities.
Objective: To participate in a collective book that will gather relevant aspects of the Japan’s political life in the past two decades. Includes translations of key documents from Japanese. The final edition will be published in Spanish and it will be the third volume of a series already published by El Colegio de Mexico under the title “Politica y Pensamiento Politico en Japon (Politics and Political Thinking in Japan)

Research Group “Education in Japan” – Group Leader: Prof. Michiko Tanaka, El Colegio de Mexico.

Objective: To participate in a collective book on the evolution of education policies in Japan from the Meiji Period (1868) through 2004. My contribution is related to education of ethnic minorities and inclusive/special education policies in Japan. The final version will be published in Spanish.
